How Web Blend handles the information you share with us, kept to what we need to reply, quote, and do the work.
Last updated: August 19, 2026
This policy covers Web Blend US and this website. It is written in plain English rather than legal shorthand, and it describes what the site actually does: an inquiry form, website analytics, and a consent control you can change at any time on this page.
The short version
Web Blend builds websites, video and Google Ads for service businesses. We collect personal information mainly when you inquire with us. We keep it to what we need to reply, quote and do the work. We don't sell it for money, you can turn off analytics and ad measurement at any time, and you can ask us to delete it.
What we collect
- What you send us. When you use the inquiry form or email us, we receive your name, business name, email, phone number and message so we can respond and prepare a quote.
- Standard server logs. Our hosting provider may record basic request data (IP address, browser type, timestamp) for security and reliability. We don't tie this to an identifying profile.
- Website analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 (through Google Tag Manager) and PostHog to understand pages viewed, devices, traffic sources and useful actions such as quote-button, phone and form-success events. We do not identify visitors from inquiry details or send form entries to PostHog.
- Privacy-masked session replay. PostHog can show us a replay of how a session moved through the public site so we can find and fix usability problems. Form inputs are masked, console recording is off, URL query strings are removed from replays, and the private client-onboarding route is excluded entirely. Opting out of analytics stops session replay too.
In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, analytics and session replay only start after you accept the analytics notice. Everywhere else they run by default, and you can turn them off at any time via “Analytics settings” in Your choices below.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to your inquiry, give you a quote, deliver the work you've engaged us for, and keep you updated on it. We don't use it for unrelated advertising.
How long we keep it
- Inquiry and client records. While we're working together and for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless we need them longer for tax or legal reasons.
- Analytics data. 14 months in Google Analytics and 12 months in PostHog, then deleted or aggregated.
- Server logs. 30 days.
Your choices
- Turn off analytics. The “Analytics settings” button below stops analytics, ad measurement and session replay at any time. For US visitors, this also serves as your “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” opt-out.
- Access, correct, delete. You can ask what personal information we hold, request a correction, or ask us to delete it via the contact page or by emailing contact@webblend.us.
US state privacy rights
If you live in a US state with a consumer privacy law (such as California, Texas, Colorado or Connecticut), you have the right to:
- know whether we hold personal information about you and access it,
- correct or delete it,
- receive a copy in a portable format,
- opt out of targeted advertising and the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, and
- not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
Submit a request via the contact page or by emailing contact@webblend.us. We may ask you to confirm details from your original inquiry to verify your identity. We respond within 45 days. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our response and we'll answer your appeal within 45 days.
Children
This site is for businesses and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy as the business grows. The date above shows when it last changed.
