Quick answer: Bulk Price Increase in ServiceM8 15 raises every eligible saved price by one percentage. Open the wizard, type the percentage, check the preview, click Finish. There is no undo. It skips items on a Pricing Strategy, and it leaves prices on existing jobs alone.
What is the ServiceM8 Bulk Price Increase tool?
Bulk Price Increase is a wizard in the ServiceM8 Online Dashboard. It shipped with ServiceM8 15 on September 18, 2026. It raises your saved Items & Services prices by a single percentage, so you stop editing them one at a time.
Who can run a bulk price increase in ServiceM8?
You need three things:
- ServiceM8 15 activated on the account.
- Your own Business Owner login on the Online Dashboard. The Account Owner can run it too.
- Permission to manage Items & Services.
How do I raise all my ServiceM8 prices at once?
- Log in, then open go.servicem8.com/help_me/BulkPriceIncrease.
- Check the business name and any note about the last increase.
- Enter a percentage above 0, up to 100. ServiceM8 rounds it to two decimal places.
- Click Next.
- Read the confirm screen. It shows the percentage, the count of eligible items, and up to eight of your most-used items with the current price and the new price.
- Click Finish.
No price changes until you click Finish. Back lets you change the percentage. Cancel Wizard exits with nothing changed.
Which ServiceM8 prices change, and which stay the same?
| Changes | Stays the same |
|---|---|
| Active items with a price you set by hand | Inactive items |
| Items with a saved price above zero | Items priced at zero |
| Labor items and materials | Items on a Pricing Strategy |
| Service minimum charges and travel prices | |
| Prices already on existing quotes, work orders and invoices |
New prices apply when you add an item to a job after the increase. ServiceM8’s help page does not mention Bundles, so check one by hand. Here is how ServiceM8 Bundles work.
Can I undo a bulk price increase in ServiceM8?
No. ServiceM8 says the wizard has no automatic undo and no backup. It only goes up, too. The percentage has to be above zero.
Runs also stack. A $100 item raised 10% becomes $110. Run 10% again and it is $121, not $120.
So do two things before you click Finish:
- Save a copy of your current price list.
- Check the math on a job you know. A water heater install saved at $1,850 should show $1,961 at 6%.
How do I know the price increase finished?
The update runs in the background. ServiceM8 sends no email. Reopen the wizard and read the last-run message.
| Message | What to do |
|---|---|
| Applied | Done. Spot-check a few items. |
| Still being applied | Wait. Don’t start another run. |
| Did not complete | Some prices may have changed. Check them before you run it again, and contact ServiceM8 Support if they look wrong. |
| Completion could not be confirmed | Check your prices before you do anything else. |
What about items on a ServiceM8 Pricing Strategy?
The wizard skips them. A Pricing Strategy sets the price from a markup on the supplier cost. To raise those, change the markup in the strategy.
