ServiceM8 15 launched on September 18, 2026, but it stays off until someone clicks Activate in Settings. Phones and tablets need the updated app, and some features need their own permission or add-on.
- Turn it on in the Online Dashboard: use the Activate ServiceM8 15 link, then click Activate on the green notice in Settings.
- The iPhone, iPad and Android apps update separately through the App Store and Google Play, and roll out gradually, so one tech can get 15 first.
- A ServiceM8 partner guide says the iPhone and iPad app needs iOS or iPadOS 18 or later.
- Office Agent needs ServiceM8 Launch 2026, its own Office Agent switch and a Security Role permission. Scheduled tasks need Office Agent Pro at US$39 a month.
- Bulk Price Increase needs a Business Owner login, and Toolbox Meetings needs the Knowledge add-on, according to a ServiceM8 partner.
- You can turn 15 off under Account > Features & Integrations, or keep it and switch off only the Enhanced Job Card to get the old job card back.
Keep asking about it in
Quick answer: ServiceM8 15 does not turn on by itself. You click Activate on the green notice in Settings, then update the app on each phone and tablet. If a feature is still missing after that, the cause is usually a permission, an old iOS version, or a feature that needs its own add-on.
Why can’t I see the new ServiceM8 15 features?
ServiceM8 15 came out on September 18, 2026. ServiceM8 leaves it off until you switch it on in the Online Dashboard. The phone apps update on their own track through the App Store and Google Play. So the office can be on 15 while a tech’s phone is still on 14.
How do I activate ServiceM8 15 on the Online Dashboard?
- Log in to the Online Dashboard.
- Open ServiceM8’s September 2026 update page and click Activate ServiceM8 15, right under the top video. The direct link is go.servicem8.com/ActivateNewFeatures.
- That opens Settings with a green notice. Click Activate.
A UK ServiceM8 partner lists a second route to the same notice: Account > Settings.
How do I get ServiceM8 15 on iPhone, iPad and Android?
- iPhone and iPad: open the App Store, search ServiceM8, tap Update. A ServiceM8 partner guide says the app needs iOS or iPadOS 18 or later.
- Android: install the updated app from Google Play. Here is what the ServiceM8 Android app can and can’t do.
ServiceM8 says the app releases roll out gradually. One phone can get the update before another.
I activated ServiceM8 15 and a feature is still missing. Why?
| Missing feature | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Office Agent | It needs two things on: ServiceM8 Launch 2026 and Office Agent. Your Security Role also needs the “Enable access to Office Agent” permission. | Ask the account owner to turn both on and update your role. |
| Office Agent on an old pay-as-you-go account | Old pay-as-you-go accounts can’t activate it. | Move to a current capped plan. ServiceM8 says that switch can’t be reversed. |
| Office Agent scheduled tasks | They need Office Agent Pro, US$39 a month. | A Business Owner subscribes under Help > Office Agent > three-dot menu > Manage plan. |
| Bulk Price Increase | It needs a Business Owner login and permission to manage Items & Services. | Log in as the owner, or ask them to run it. |
| Toolbox Meetings | A ServiceM8 partner says it needs the Knowledge add-on. | Turn on Knowledge. |
| New iPad layout or Apple Watch app | The app is not updated, or the device runs an older iOS. | Update iOS, then update the app. |
Can I turn ServiceM8 15 off again?
Yes. Go to Account > Features & Integrations, open ServiceM8 Launch 2026, and turn it off. You need permission to manage features and integrations.
If the new job card is the only thing bugging you, leave the launch on. Turn off the Enhanced Job Card add-on in the same menu and you get the old job card back.
What should you do right after activating?
Test it on one real job before the whole crew changes how they work. Book a single water heater install with the new booking window. Check that the tech sees it on an updated phone. Then roll it out.
ServiceM8 15 changed more than the job card. It brought Bundles into the app, added note threads to the Job Diary, and gave ServiceM8 Phone a caller blocklist.
ServiceM8 15 also improved how ServiceM8 talks to outside AI tools. If you would rather ask about your jobs from your own chatbot, here is how to connect ServiceM8 to ChatGPT or Claude.
